Jerry Springer Weighs In on Special Election In NY-9: Report

Talk show host knows a thing or two about politics and wars of words.

The race between Bob Turner and David Weprin has gotten downright nasty at times, and now it’s gotten so intense that Jerry Springer has decided to weigh in, according to City Hall News.

The talk-show host and former Cincinnati mayor is deeply familiar with quite a few of the elements of the special election in  NY-9. Not only is he a son of Kew Gardens, but The Jerry Springer Show was produced by Multimedia Entertainment and its president, Bob Turner.

Springer, a Democrat, made it clear in the article that he’d be supporting Weprin if he still lived in the district, but not because he doesn’t appreciate his former boss.

“I think he’s wrong on the issues. But not because he’s not a good person,” Springer told City Hall. “He’s just wrong. It’s a genetic defect that these people have. It’s not their fault. Something in their life, some trauma made them conservative. I think we should have a telethon for them, that’s all.”

Springer knows a thing or two about Turner based on their years working together, and he knows about politics—and sex scandals. Springer was impeached as Cincinnati mayor after paying a prostitute with a personal check.

He told City Hall that while he wouldn’t vote for Turner, the Republican does have some assets that would serve him well if elected to Congress.

“He would know what’s real and what’s bull,” Springer said. “In other words, he’d be able to cut through. I don’t think he suffers fools lightly. That may cost him politically, because I think he’d be very blunt.”

A low-life, leftist creep like Springer says Turner and conservatives have a genetic defect. My God, I think these Democreeps are looking for a civil war with their constant hateful, dangerous rhetoric. When the bodies do pile up it will be at the hands of the radical left in America. I really fear for this country.
