Police In Search Of Mugging Suspects

Group of three men have string of muggings under their belt in the 107th Precinct.

New York City Police are asking for the public's assistance in locating three suspects wanted in connection with four robberies committed in the last month in Queens.

All four robberies took place in the 107th Precinct, located just over the Van Wyck, comprising Kew Gardens Hills, Fresh Meadows and the St. Johns' University campus.

In all four robberies, which took place between Oct. 20 and Nov. 15, the three suspects approached their victim and either assaulted them, threatened them or quickly stole their property and ran away.

One victim, whose iPod, camera, phone  and wallet were stolen, was punched in the face and knocked to the ground.

In another attack, near the St. John's University campus on Union Turnpike, the suspects jumped at a victim as they were getting off the bus and screamed "Give me your bag or I'll hurt you," then took the bag and ran.

Anyone with any information on any of the incidents in question is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-577-TIPS (8477). Residents with information can also send a text message to  274637 (CRIMES), entering the information and the phrase TIP577. Lastly, residents can register information with Crime Stoppers online at WWW.NYPDCRIMESTOPPERS.COM.
