Local restaurants helped add layers of flavor to this year's Queens Restaurant Week.

Among its many credits, Queens boasts one of the most ethnically diverse populations in New York City and nothing fully represents this diversity more than the restaurants in Queens.
So to celebrate the many local flavors of our beloved borough, over 100 Queens restaurants participated in Queens Restaurant Week, offering special 3-course prix fixe menus priced at under $25 per person.

I went to Jade Eatery and Lounge in Forest Hills on Saturday night. They informed me that they extended their Restaurant Week offer through October 6.
