In keeping with our theme of fast-food questions this week, we’ve got another issue that Forest Hills might find interesting: Should CitiField sell hot dogs on the Jewish Sabbath?
The New York Daily News profiled an upcoming high-profile suit bent on keeping the Mets’ from claiming they’ve got kosher dogs on the Jewish Sabbath.
The suit argues that if they’re being served on the Sabbath and prepared improperly, the dogs aren’t kosher at all.
So what do you think? Should the Mets’ refrain from selling hot dogs — an iconic baseball food — one-seventh of the time?
Let us know what you think in the comments below.

This is kind of ridiculous. You don't have to buy the hot dogs, or even go! If it's a problem for you, maybe choose another day to go to a game...

If you are very observant you will not be at the game on the Sabbath to begin with.

The issue has been misunderstood. The question at hand is whether kosher hot dogs may be prepared and sold on the Jewish sabbath. Jewish law does not allow food to be cooked or sold on the sabbath. These are two separate issues. If these laws are violated then the supervisory rabbinic authorities must withdraw their kosher certification. Such a withdrawal would mean that the observant could no longer eat the hot dogs. There is no reason why Citi Field can not sell clearly marked kosher and non kosher hot dogs during the other six days of the week and just sell non kosher hot dogs on Saturday!

Kosher hot dogs are the best. Why wouldn't they sell them? Here we go again.
